Richard started Kindergarten on September 3rd.

We ordered Rich’s backpack on the internet on Amazon. He wanted a Star War’s backpack and couldn’t find one at Target. After we hit the confirm order button he runs to the door, opens it and looks confused “where is it Mom”?

After hanging up his backpack at school, putting on his name tag, he ran off playing with his neighbor friend, Kenton. I was left in shock that he has grown up so fast--or that i am old enough to have a kid in school.

Alyson went to the club with me and was in the spirit of taking pictures. She loves it there and calls it her Club School. Max just smiled and was happy to be along for the ride.

Below are some Rich, Aly, and Max moments--

Alyson asked for a peanut butter and Jelly Sandwich. Rich only has peanut butter on his. EWWW Aly look at your sandwich, it has blood in it (strawberry jam). She looks at it and looks at him, NOOOO Richard it isn’t blood, it is bug guts from a Crotchroach. (cockroach)

I bought an Indiana Jones hat for Richard at blockbuster. He was so excited. He asked me where I bought it from and I told him blockbuster. He was so shocked and hurt. WHAT mom? You rented me a Hat? I have to give it back? How could you?

Kirk installed a reverse osmosis water system for our drinking water. Now the kids always ask for osmosis water- Only California kids. Aly calls it ossmissossis water. How adorable.

Kristi brought home lounge chairs that the club were getting rid of. Aly loves them and says she is going outside to “Belax”. When she grows up she is going to be a Super Herio or mermaid. Rich said he no longer wants to be a surfer; he wants to be a Pokémon Card collector (he found 2 cards under the couch).

Rich lost his tooth. It was a traumatic event. Let me rewind. Alyson was playing dog. Well, I should say Rich was the dog and aly was walking him with a ribbon that Rich was holding in his mouth. She yanked on it for the doggie to go faster and it pulled out one of his teeth. So we told him to not touch it-hoping the roots would repair and grow back. No such luck, with a 5 year old and a new toy in his mouth to play with. He was constantly messing with it either with his fingers or tongue. So, after 2 weeks it finally decided it was time. Rich was wailing and crying because we had threatened him with his life to not touch it and how bad it would be if it was to come out. Now it was coming out it’s own. Dad opened up his mouth and wiggled it and it literally just fell out. Well, you would have thought Rich had a toe chopped off-especially when he saw the blood. Aly was the only one excited about it. She overheard Kirk talking about a tooth fairy. She claimed that as her part. The minute she saw the tooth fall out. She yells, “DAD, GO GET MY WINGS! I AM THE TOOTH FAIRY!”
